Infertility Resource Center

Infertility

Infertility affects hundreds of thousands of women, on an annual basis, in the United States alone. Thankfully, technological advancements and progressive medication therapy have accelerated the rising success of fertility treatment over the past decade.

The owners of Rosemont Pharmacy are proud to have specialized in dispensing fertility medications since 1989, and we are one of the longest-standing pharmacies to dedicate ourselves to the evolving field of fertility.

The entire Rosemont Pharmacy team is highly trained in caring for couples going through fertility treatment and we understand the many challenges that patients face. Two of the main struggles that we see are misinformation about insurance benefits for fertility medications and a lack of patient confidence in understanding and administering injectable medications.

To combat these issues, Rosemont Pharmacy has developed effective means of verifying fertility medication benefits, and we participate in the most competitive cash discount programs for any patients who do not have insurance benefits to cover their medications.

Rosemont Pharmacy also provides extensive educational materials with every medication order, which addresses all of the details regarding your medications. If you prefer a more visual support system, please utilize our injectable training video resources, which will walk you through the step-by-step process of administering your injectable medications.

For any questions regarding your insurance benefits or medications, Rosemont Pharmacy is happy to arrange a personal consultation, by phone or at our convenient pharmacy location, to address any additional uncertainties that you may have.

BHRT Compounding

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) has been gaining popularity in recent years, for both Women and Men. Unlike the controversial use of animal-derived synthetic hormones, this specialty utilizes naturally occurring hormones which are chemically identical in molecular structure to the hormones found in the human body.

Compounded bioidentical hormones are not only thought to be safer and more efficacious than their synthetic counterparts, but they offer the added benefit of flexibility so that the ingredients can be tailored to the precise needs of each individual patient.

Proper BHRT treatment can be associated with:

  • Improved Memory
  • Mood Stability
  • Youthful Appearance
  • Increased Hair Growth
  • Weight Loss
  • Increased Muscle Mass
  • Lower Cholesterol
  • Reduced Risk of Heart Disease
  • Increased Libido

To achieve these results, Rosemont Pharmacy works closely with skilled physicians to formulate the appropriate custom compounds that will directly address your specific hormonal needs.

For more information about the compounds that Rosemont can provide, please call our BHRT coordinator, Joanna, at 610.525.3750 ext 302.

BHRT for Women’s Health

While women can experience hormonal imbalances for a number of different reasons, the most common and drastic hormonal changes that a women experiences, are during and after Menopause.

BHRT for Menopause

Women going through menopause have a great fluctuation in hormones, specifically estrogen and testosterone, which can cause a many uncomfortable side effects. While some women may have almost no noticeable issues, others can experience a wide range of symptoms including, but not limited to;

  • Hot Flashes
  • Night Sweats
  • PMS
  • Weight Gain
  • Irregular Menstrual Cycle
  • Infertility
  • Decreased Libido
  • Painful Intercourse
  • Vaginal Dryness

Since each woman has a unique journey through this transition, the use of tailored BHRT preparations can precisely regulate the menopausal hormones to combat these symptoms, on a patient-by-patient basis, no matter how severe.

Post-Menopausal BHRT

While there is an obvious need for BHRT during the fluctuations of menopause, there are also many benefits for postmenopausal use. Hormones after menopause may no longer be fluctuating, but the subsequent levels are often decreased. Replacing those hormones can address a myriad of age-related symptoms like weight gain, memory loss, and the overall attributes of healthy skin.

BHRT for Men’s Health

As men age, their levels of testosterone and DHEA gradually decrease. This decline can happen as early as their mid-twenties, and more drastically declines through their thirties and forties. Low testosterone, also known as “Low T”, can lead to lowered sex drive, erectile dysfunction, trouble sleeping, irritability, weight gain, and more.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy can address these issues by regulating the levels of necessary hormones in your system.
